VIDAWASI Peru is a non-profit organization committed to restoring life expectancy for thousands of children from vulnerable and remote areas of Southern Peru who urgently require specialized pediatric services and the fight against childhood cancer. Our primary mission is to decentralize child health services with high-quality standards for the most vulnerable populations in our country. VIDAWASI invites everyone to join, especially people and organizations that wish to transcend through social action in favor of this great purpose. Jesús Dongo and his little daughter Abigail (age 5) suffered a terrible accident that left them on the verge of death. During his agony, Jesús promised: "To change the course of his life by saving thousands of lives for the world with all those who recognize the same call." Jesús and his daughter survived without scientific explanation or any sequel, so he and his family decided to fulfill the promise and founded VIDAWASI PERU to express gratitude.
